Description
At last, it's Friday!! :)
Many thanks for all your comments on my previous image, "Miss Fantasy 2006" -- the votes are being calculated and triple-checked as I am writing this note, and the winner of the contest will be announced very soon! More like an excuse for me to show what's happened to the losers ** evil chuckle ** :)
With the above image, I was trying to achieve photorealism in order to potentially use this portrait in my company's marketing activities -- my colleagues will probably say the James figure looks a bit scary on this one :)
I've borrowed the title "Ecce Homo" from Friedrich Nietzsche's autobiography because the english translation for this latin phrase is "Behold The Man" and I thought, yeah, he looks nice :) Sorry nothing intellectual here. it's Friday! :)
I hope you like this portrait and I wish you all a fantastic and very creative weekend! :)

Well it's James alright, but no decayed skin, swords or monsters ? he does look photorealistic though ! he's green, is he related to the Leprachaun's ? for a wee bit more realism, photoshop the whisker's...just a thought. LOL & Cheers

I do, I do!! It's just the darkness that makes him look scary. Change the color maybe and he would work perfectly. You really captured the photo effect!

Fantastic Sabine !!! ... Antonio.

It's james? O.O Dang it he looks great!!! Do you think you could make a proto-virtual face i could wear on top of my one? That would come in pretty handy... :O Excellent work and very photorealistic - to me you achieved the goal just fine! ;)

It really amazes me how far all of this technology has come! I remember in 1998, when I was using Poser on projects, and some people scoffed at how pathetic the figures looked...they did! LOL! But thank God they kept improving! Here we are, 8 years later....nearly photographic renders...couple more years and we're talking "Looker" (A sci-fi movie). This is a great render! I especially love the stark lighting and the monochromatic hues!! Very sci-fi mood.
