Description

Here is Galvaton sea wall. In the background is the sea wall. You will see a street light on top of the wall. There a road there on top. The sea wall was built because of a storm in 1900 destory the town; killed 6000 people too. And in 1902 they form a commintion[board] to get the sea wall build and in 1904 it was finish. Wow that fast. Here in Louisiana it would take a lot longer and cost 3x what they wish for.; plus it would not withstand a storm of 100 mph. Texas did it right. You see in the foreground a rock with barigos on it[I know misspelled lol Louisiana is last in eduction too] thanks for looking and comments

Barnacle Bill the Sailor.....remember that song? Barnacles are a variety of cirriped crustaceans that cement themselves to anything and everything, including whales. Cool capture with good depth, Jocko!

well if Texas did it right or not, can be debated.Texas is full of bs politicians as any state, but we got more than our share. the barnacles are cool.
