Description

Golden flies the eagle’s eyes Into a moonless sun Holds fire to the naked skies Fluttered wings undone High travels midsummer’s air Shuts waves onto the shore As I step closely where The tide it comes no more The songs that rang this place So many years ago Scared an expression on my face Where life began to grow Let be not the grain of sand That gets grinded into none Let be not the grass of land That gets faded by the sun The eagle dives far and near Circles round ancient stones Celebrates the virgin year And swoops to pick fish bones For there is no time passing Time has stopped for a breath On this scene life is casting Its museum of death
