Description
Changes in the dark
Flip a lid
Light a spark
I then step silently around
I move briskly
I’m changing too quickly
I don’t recognize me
The mind clicks
On a response
And manipulated it’s caught
Eyes close for a moment’s expression
To catch an escaping thought
Then all is lost and untouched
Then all is forgotten about
The mind floats over head
Exaggeration is spilling out
Back into the room
Dusted with memories
Kept hidden in shoe boxes
