Description

Aloooooooha! Like a cold sore that won't go away, I'm baaaaack! Been busy lately learning some new songs for some up coming gigs with the band. My ebots have piled up beyond repair, but I will get to as many as I can when time allows...I hope you all understand. Seem to have lost focus on my images for a bit there also. Just too damn critical of myself and nothing I have taken lately has really inspired me....I'm sure it was a slump of some sort that we all tend to go through now and then. My passion for photography is still strong, and I'm sure I will snap out of it soon. A little birdie told me it was someone special day this Wed. so I want to send out my condolences to my good buddy and terrific photog and and artist ANDREAS!! I know he inspires me and quite a few others on this site and he truly makes this place a pleasure to be a member. Congrats buddy, I hope you tie one on tonight~~ Jeeeeze, all that yapping and I haven't said a word about the image...This was taken at celebration for our former queen of Hawaii. Each year they have many hula schools come together to dance the hula and honor our beloved Queen. The first dance of the day involves all the schools dancing to the same song in the park at the same time....talk about a photo op. I ran around as much as possible trying to catch the different dancers at different locations before the song stopped....not an easy task on about 2 acres of park. Of course the very little ones interest me the most. So nice to see our young children carrying on the tradition of hula. Ok, shutting up now....thanks for coming by and having a peek...hope to post more soon.......Mahalo and Aloha!

BUDDYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! Where the hell have ya been??? HUH HUH??? Ive been actually quite worried about you. Oooh....congratulate me are ya? AWWWWWWWW!!! Thank you!!!! That is so sweet of you. #:o) Now that ive gotten the politeness out of the way i would just like to slap you a little.....SMAAAAAAAAACK!!!! You in a slump??? I find that very hard to belive. I can understand you when youre saying youre being overly critical of your work. I think that happens to all of us. But seeing this adorable little girl, and just taking a quick peek into your gallery even, i dont think anyone could ever think you could lose inspiration. It will come back to you soon Dave...it always does. #:o) Beautiful doll youve got there. Have a wonderful day and once again Thank you!!!! #:o)
