Description

My Lantana is still growing strong. It's been a while since I have posted. I am doing okay. I decided I will call the Cancer Center and talk to the Oncologist about Chemotherapy. If I can take it once every 3 weeks, I may decide to do this. I just don't think I am strong enough to take it here at home for 5 days then off 5 and back again. I can tell fall is on it's way. We have had some chilly night's here in Kentucky and this is Indian Summer. I hate to see my flowers dying but they slowly are. All postwork done in PSP 9. Added frame and border. Your comments are always very much appreciated. Hugs, Susan~

Your body must be battered after all your treatment Susan and I really feel for you. I daresay, you will respond better to the chemotherapy, if you find it possible to endure it, more readily. God bless you my friend. My thoughts are with you. Stay strong! Steve :o)

They are hardy as well as gorgeous ~ much like yourself Susan, and I am so glad to hear how well you are doing. I hope they will allow you to take the chemo this way as I know how hard it is on a person. Lovely to see a post from you!

This is a great feel-good shot... the depth and colors play on the senses. As for the rest, do what is reasonable and what is comfortable for you. A positive attitude makes all the different... but do remember, its surprising what the human body and spirit can do under the worst of circumstances. I've seen it. I've done it. At the time I thought it wasn't worth it, but now that its all behind me, I have changed my mind... it was definitely worth it... :-)

Judging by the amount of beautiful flowers you post pics of, you must have a really wonderful garden. Excellent photo above Susan. I, also, am very glad to hear your feeling somewhat better nowdays. Drop me an IM to set up a good time, and we'll get started again with those Bryce lessons. Hugs from Dave :^)

How beautiful. I assume that if they grow there, they would probably grow here? Don't ya just love the cool nights? FINALLY! ...after the sweaty summer heat. Bout time! Lantana is beautiful. I have never heard of it, but I am not a gardener by any stretch of the imagination. If they are hearty, and beautiful I might give it a whirl. Chemo sucks no matter how you do it, or how often. I am praying for you, Babe. Don't let them push you around. Do what you have to do to get on the other side of this. You know what you can handle. Love ya, Hugs, yore Tennessee SIS!

Just a most lovely image!! If good wishes were so, your flowers would be fit for the Jolly Green Giant. WINK. Breathe deep .... my best to you and yours .... TallPockets/brian. (IF ya' ever want to look it in the eye, so to speak, write another one of your marvelous works about 'cancer' and the treatments a person endures. You could already say it much better than most just with your writing skills. Add to that, you've got personal experience with it, sadly. Maybe it would 'help' another kind soul who is or might be in similar circumstances? If ya' think it's a dumb idea, just consider the 'source'. WINK).

Lantana is such a pretty flower. this plant makes a great hedge row, except in Kenya the Britsh brought this over to run wild and it has torns and has become the bane of Kenya.

You have a beautiful gallery, with so many wonderful pictures - 40 pages, wow! This is the first time I've seen a Latana, it's a very pretty flower; you did a lovely job highlighting it in PSP9. I'm sorry to hear you have cancer, and hope the chemotherapy won't be too difficult, and that you will be in remission again soon. All the best, Sebastian
