Description

Winds tearing and screaming racing through trees Whipping the branches No longer a breeze. Slashing and lashing through buildings and yards Pushing the rain and icicle shards. Leaves that are shreaded and scattered so far Branches are ripped Flung through the red car Gates blown open Swinging to and fro Slam in the storm With nowhere to go Roofs lifting up a rippling sight Shingles flying off with wicked delight Animals cringe at the boom of the sky Cower and whine Without knowing why When will this stop and where will it end When pressures collide and equal, my friend. *********************** A quick message to say thank you for the nomination for AOM. I am so privilaged to be amongst the other amazing talent here on Renderosity. Hugs all!

Beaches, roads, trees knocked over, roofs torn off, electricity was knocked out - there sure was plenty of damage done. It was amazing to sit and watch from inside the office. The rain was so heavy you barely saw two feet outisde the window at times! Thanks for the comments and Deane - I'll have to satisfy you fully at some stage... lol

Alliteration- a word I learned from Mrs. Olsen along with Onomatapeia. Not as exciting as Transmogriphication in terms of the adventure of existence but much more prolific when applied to a text.

A lovely poem. Glad you survived. I love the fury of a storm, but they can be horrificly destructive. Thanks for sharing. BJ
