Many thanks for all your comments and advice on my previous image. I have started to fix the ears and eyes, but they still need work and I need to fix other bits as well, like the nose and mouth. :)
The above texture probably has a bit too much specularity (or maybe not, I'm not sure) but it's a work in progress anyway. And it's not the finished result I first came up with after learning about texturing the ZBrush manual last night.
The initial results were actually very nice, but ZBrush crashed *twice* before I could save them. Ah well, that's another chance to do it again! :)
Still, what you can do with ZBrush never ceases to amaze me :)
Many thanks for viewing this image and for your comments. By the way, sorry if I'm a bit behind *again* with my browsing and my replying to messages - no home connection yet...
Have a great and very creative day! :)

Looks great! I've tried ProjectionMaster with front and side pictures of my face just to get the right texture, and it works pretty well. You should try that, then after putting together the pictures in that creepy face, just retouch the texture and voil Ultra-nice base texture. And agree with digimon, next step should be to take that symetry off. By the way, great eyes!! Dark, very dark :)
