Description

I was following a tutorial by Hytheshade at 3DC and was pleased with the result. The tut had a lot of useful techniques in it, which hopefully I will be able to remember and use in an original piece (since this is, by definition, little more than a copy of the piece the tut was built around)

Although this picture has a lot of upside to it, (good lighting and atmosphere, great backdrop of trunks and a killer leaves on grass texture) it does feel more plopped than composed. Make sure to pay attention to the way your scene works with the realistic physics of nature to become more believable. A valiant effort.
