Captured by a lake at the beautiful LA Botanic Garden in beautiful Arcadia, California.
Since I've uploaded some photos of Canadian geese already, I can no longer duck the issue, so to keep everything equal I thought I'd also post some pics of multi-textured ducks...quackers all.
Gingerlou should especially appreciate this because of her current "ducks in the canal" series.

Beautiful! There is some serious competition there, lol I live along a river and each spring there is a nesting of ducks. This past spring there were also some Canada Geese (I'm in Canada). They're beautiful, but wow, are they loud! Great shot!

Are there Koi's under each duck? or do they have orange legs and feet? Very cool shot oldboy, and quite fitting considering all the duckies in the forum as of late. Nice work, two thumbs up from Newbieland.

they are Mallards. we have thousands of them every year here. they are a beautiful duck

Marvelous capture of these Mallard duckies, both females and males, way to go, also, love the red flowers captured along the edge of the lake, Bravo!!
