Description

love is a doing word. - Massive Attack Taken on my Sigma 105mm EX DG Macro. Post in Photoshop. I will admit i got this idea of the heart shape from a pic i saw over on deviant, but personally i think he chose the wrong word to put it against: "heartless" - just a bit to sad for me. So this is my twist with a bit of title word play, and a bit extra for those of you who actually look at some of the meaning behind pictures, to start you on that thought process i will tell you that the ring is Omani bedouin silver... Rich http://album.cogia.net/home.htm Edit May 2008 - thought i would share the whole story: The ring is a Bedouin silver ring, and the way they make them is in pairs which you would wear on the same finger of each hand, meaning that this ring in the shot has a "partner" ring adding to the whole bonds of love thing. Also being Omani, and being in a dictionary of two languages we are looking at a cross cultural, cross-lingual concept here. Universality of love. One could also read into the fact that it takes a circular object to make the heart - circular represents life, "the whole", unity etc etc... one is whole with love... Did i get too conceptually soppy on you guys or what? ;P
