Description

Taken on my Sigma 105mm EX DG. Post in photoshop. First outing for my 30D with the drop shots, take a look at my previous two attempts back in my gallery on my canon A95- attempt one - attempt two I note a marked improvement if i would be so bold as to say so myself ;) So anyway - it took me about 300 shots to get just a handful that were useable - this was the first one that popped out at me to take a closer look at. The idea was the same as everyone else probably, tho i am under the impression that the colours which come out from the other shots around are either from the lighting or the post production "colourisation". Whether or not that is true i dont know, but my take was to drop food colouring into the water and see what happened... you can clearly see what happened in this shot - the drops are crystal, the water is a nice shade of blue ;) i do have some shots of the drops of food colouring hitting the water, it just looks like ink really... next stop is to do the drops of food colouring into milk, i'll do that someday and post it up here. Anyway, thanks for dropping by and taking a look (har har... ;)) Enjoy! Rich http://album.cogia.net/home.htm

Amazing clarity to this shot. Really superb!!!!! As far as the color goes...you could always try playing around a little with the whitebalance as well. #;o)

Well worth those 300 shots. I hope to have a go at these myself one day, but doubt I will get anything as pleasing on the eye as this. Keep 'em coming!

This one is really good as well. I've seen some drop-shots by Andreas Stridsberg where he used coffe. Nice work
