Man, you have been patient getting his shot! Talk about having a fast trigger finger. And you brought back so many memories from my childhood. We don't get many toads in N.Z. But when I lived in Japan as a kid we had heaps. They would appear on the dirt roads after the rain. The Japanese ladies would spot me caryying them home and sharply say "kitai, kitai" . Which means dirty, dirty in Japanese. Well anyway, I never thought they were:-) and would take them home and put them in a pond behind our house. They never stayed long. This is a gorgeous shot and appreciate the upload and seeing how much the toad is enjoying the bug. Made my day even though I am late viewing.
