Description

AlooooooooooooooHa! Howsit everyone, hope your enjoying your weekend and getting some good shots. I shot this at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel's beach. The beach is normally reserved for just hotel guests, with about 20 stalls reserved for outside parking like me. I think their policy really sucks, because we used this beach way before the hotel came in, now if there is no parking you can't get in. I saw this father and son having a time at sunset on the beach and had to get a shot. I had to wade out in the water to get this, as the sun was too my back. These tourists really had a good time soaking up the warm Hawaiian water.....Mom was just out of camera with her little video cam. This little guy will remember this all his life. Thanks for stopping by and having a peek, and for all your kind comments on my previouos posts. A blessed week to All~ Aloha~

I love the intent look of protection on Daddys' face. He isn't taking his eyes off that child for a second. Priceless capture!

Awww! What a little cutie!!! Talking about the boy of course. I remember this japanese couple on a beach in Thailand who took turns in posing for the camera. Running in and out of the water while the other one snapped away...then they shifted. They carried on like that for 3 straight hours, lol. Later i found out that man only got 2 weeks of vacation every year. So no wonder they do what they can to document it all. Heck...i get 26 weeks of vacation every year and i too photograph everything. #:oP This really is a precious moment that you captured. Excellent job buddy! Have a wonderful week!!!!!

I understand better now the resentment felt by many locals to the outsiders. It made going to school in Hawaii tough sometimes, but I made it through it. The policies of the hotel are a bit unfair as well, what a shame. Thanks for sharing this tender moment though. :) Loved your recent portrait shots as well. ALOHA!
