Description

AloooooooooHa! I drove to Kona on the other side of the island the other day about a 2 1/2 hour drive to celebrate my Mom's birthday. We ended up eating at a restaurant close to the ocean at sunset. I was able to sneak out before dinner came to get a few shots of the sunset. I know it's not the best of manners, but everyone knows you can't wait on the sun. I wasn't in the greatest position to get some better shots because of my little time frame, but here's one I managed to get. If you ever get a chance to catch the sunset in Kona, don't miss it..this photo doesn't do it justice...just an awesome spectacle. Have a great weekend everyone, I'm off to Kona again this morning to play some music and hopefully get some pics...Much Aloha to everyone~

I agree with Loloe about the boat. The masts of the boat along with their tethers also goes a long way to enhance the shot. Try to look at the shot minus the masts and tethers and you will see what I mean.

YIIIIIIIIIKES!!!! I certainly dont blame you for running out before dinner....it would have been bad manners towards all of us if you hadnt. This composition is truly fantastic. And the sun and the sky....wow. Never seen anything like that before.
