Like you I remember the days of chestnuts i my pockets too! I love the feel of them in my hand, the surface that is both shiny and smooth at the same time. The part of us carrying chestnuts in our pockets never grow old Koosie, isn't that wonderful?

In New England we had chestnut trees and children played games with the chestnuts. They really are a beautiful color.
