Description

Here is my first attempt at trying to do a fractal. I found a picture of a green leaf, sharpened and redid the entire image, then added border and etched green leaf buds in the four corners to get the fractal made.. I added my name in Gold text. Being the bright green that it is, I gave it the title, The Essence of Nature. Have a version of Paint Shop Pro 9 and this was how I got the image. Thought I would try something a little bit different. Hope you all enjoy and like this. It was quite the challenge for me not having a manual to go by, so it was a lot of trial, error, and editing. All Post work done in Paint Shop Pro 9. Any and all comments are most welcome. Hope you all have a good day today. Supposed to be 40 here and snow flurries. Brrrrrr! And this is only October! Any suggestions for improvement are most welcome. Hugs Susan~

A nice, easy image to take in without confusing the senses. Simplicity is always the most elegant form of art.

Beautifully done for a beginner. I do not know how to do fractals in anything so this is quite an accomplishement and I can only imagind how hard it may have been. No wonder my daughter--Hyria--loves your work. Keep it up.

Excellent effort! I used to do fractals, but got tired of them. I did them with Fractal Painter, and even had a class how to do the program. Anyway, that was a long time ago. They are fun to do, and wishing you lots of luck. :o)

Brilliant Kaleidoscope here Susan. You should do a Tut on how to turn a leaf into a flower. Looks almost like a Lily pad. Of course, I knew a Lily and her pad was always a mess.. but that's neither here nor there. PSP9 huh.. Isn't the manual a PDF document under the Help button? Wonderful job and image. Hope all's well in your world. Send me an IM if you want some help with Bryce. Hugs from Dave :^)
