OH MY GOD!!! This could be mine!!!! LOL! I will email you some shots i took that look just like this one...except your ostrich is clearly more wild than the one i photographed. I love the "mean shape" of its eye compared to ostriches ive seen...and the wrinkles around it. Such a regal bird that is!!! Brilliant capture my friend! Have a wonderful evening!!! #:o)

Superb closeup, lighting and POV of the big bird, Piet! Fine macro showing every hair on the big guy. It's reported that an ostrich eye is larger than its brain. I seem to recall Zacko posting a similar photo a little while back.

All I can do is stare at this and marvel at it! I have never seen this type of bird up close. Rather scrawny and fuzzy, aren't they? He looks about ready to pick your eye out! LOL Great shot! :0)
