Description

Hello everybody. After sometime, I've manage to upload a new picture. Unfortunately work prevents me from exploring Renderosity for the time being, but I hope that this will change soon. This image is a copy of an old photogravure that I possess. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the artist or if it is depicting a painting. The only thing written is the initials VLC. I found the scene quite charming and spend sometime in order to reproduce it through DAZ Studio. Credits: Most items are from DAZ3d I have used some period reproductions made by Ness. The flowers are from Mapps and the painting accessories from geralday. I have manipulated the image with The Gimp 2.2.10 for Linux. Comments and suggestions are always welcomed. Thanks for viewing.

It's a lobely and romantic scene, with a lot of detail and a very deep knowledge of D|S for create a scene like this. Surely a nice flashback, when we were without computers but with a great aesthetic sense. Well, we have this today too!! ^_^ *****

If I had to guess I'd say that your engraving was a copy of a painting (that might not even exist now), and it was French or English from around 1812-1820 to guess from the Empire-style gowns:-) But you already knew all that stuff, guessing from your bio. THis is pretty spectacular, lots of lovely details but best of all the charming posing and painting!

Stunning imagery and such a lovely composition and theme!! I love the ladies and their poses. The painter as the theme is perfect. I'm stunned that you made this in D/S...I use that to only pose my characters. Most impressive!

I don't think I've ever seen your work before, but I am most pleased to do so. You display a very masterful technique in this image; frankly, I think it belongs on the museum wall. A very fine piece of work in my opinion.
