I was born in the flat lands of Kansas in a family of nine. My love of images started when I was 11 in the mid60s and my mom brought home a box full of Life and Look mags. Being the middle child, withdrawn and depressed. I took these images, cut them up made collages to express myself. My Art form begain and so too my love of Photography. I still make Collages from found objects. But once I got my computer I turned to 3D Art. Then replace my old SLR with a digital and here I am. I now live on a small Island in the Puget Sounds. With my husband and two cats and a menagerie of wild life.

even in decay it is still beautiful and I like the selective coloring

What a beautiful find and lovely capture. Did you selectivly color it? Or at least desaturate the background. It looks perfect!!!! Have a wonderful day Bonita! #:o)

For everyone who wonders. I did very little postwork..Just a little level and curve adjustment and some saturation. But no desaturation or selective coloring. I havn't learnt how to do that yet LoL...Thanks for wondering and comments.

The flower has a sad atmosphere to it and yet the seeds will ensure its survival soon. Great symbolic content.
