Happy middle of the week all..
Well this is the sunrising on the little lake we stayed at up in the Cascades. I got up at 5:30 while my husband decided it was way to early for him. So with flashlight in hand I went wondering of into the woods only to find someone had moved the lake. Boy was I a little nervous, all I could think was bears. HaHa. Luckily the lodge was lite up and I headed that way to find myself in the back and had to walk around to the front to find the lake was still there. But it was pitch black out so I took some night shots of the lodge and waited patiently for the sun to rise. And this is it. Well worth the initial panic..LoL
And for all who wonder about any postwork on my last post "Kiss Goodbye" I did a little adjustment to,Level, curve,and a little saturation. I do this on most of my photos if need. Thanks for asking and all your kind remarks..

So perfect! Simple but gorgeous!!! I love the symmetry that reflection creates. Definitly worth getting up at that hour for it. I get up at 4.50 this week but the sun doesnt rise till 8-9 and im at work by then. #:o( Have a wonderful day Bonita! #:o)

I stayed in a sleazy motel on Miami beach once and when I called and asked if they have a beach view they said yes. well if you stood on a chair and peer out the very top of the window you could see a railing. I was up a 5:00 everyday to go watch the sunrise. this capture of yours is breath taking. very vibrant
