Description

Hello All! Thank you for all the wonderful birthday greetings!!! You have all been More than kind and here I havn't even been on here much due to setting up this new home and then a new part time job. Speaking of new here is our newest family mamber Ringo . His name is ringo because he has a white ring on the end tip of his tail ..( not seen in this pic btw) ..He is a pure bread papered ragdoll cat. Ragdolls are some of the largest domesticated cats out there and thier roots come from simese and hymalian persian mix backgrounds . Believe it not This guy is still growing and almost a year old look how big he is!! We adopted him cause his owners were moving and couldnt keep him( and because I have been wanting a cat for a while now hehe)! I captured him with just a hint of my daughter Nellie there -so you could see how big he is . (I wanted to get a better picture of him , but he is still so shy and hardly comes out from under the bed LOL!! ) Anyways I dont know if i will leave this one in my gallery but wanted to introduce you to our new big baby ... isn't he adorable ..I personally love his sky blue eyes and seal mit coat !!...he is still a little scared in this shot here ..hehe...he will grow used to us and my cocker spaniel candi in time !!..he is still a little frightened here cause Candi my doggy just walked in but he is really quite a love and very affectionate and sweet !! taken with my nikon pocket cam the canon wasnt around here ( this is when he first got out and grabbed the nearest cam avalible before he darted for back under the bed ...lol) wondering how long does it take for a cat to get used to a new home? hmm = I am guessing at least a week!! ( Janel is not smiling too much at the time here cause she is bit worried about getting scratched with it seeing our dog suddenly in the hall )..LOL!!... Thank you for all your time and comments and BEAUTIFUl warm birthday greetings!! - Will try my best to get caught up soon on comments !! Love you ALL!!! ((( BIg hugs ))) ~ Kimmers ♥ :O)

Dear Kiemarie, your Ringo cat is enormous, perhaps already with its fur. The cats do not like much to change residence. But will rassurrez, us avone have a Spinger cocker spaniel, a bitch of the Pyrenees, and a cat at the same time. It is the cat which will make one day the law. But it is necessary that the two animals accept themselves. If your new cat eats and drinks in the house, there will remain calm from here about fifteen day. Attention with the concept of territory for a cat, it is different from that of a dog. Its close territory is crowned, and when you see your cat making the grosee tail in front of your dog, it will be a reflexe of defense. Known the photograph, it is seen well that it is not glad to be in the arms of your daughter. Its leg before right-hand side is stiffened on its before arm and its back leg is ready to take support, to jump! I did not know that it was your birthday... I wish it to you of any heart. Your children have to make you a pretty festival for your twenty years!

This is no little kitten LOL, really a biggie, and they have not reached their full size untill they are 1. But a beauty he is, even if he looks a little uncomfortable here- He soon will get used to you all. Funny, you speak of blue eyes, to me they seem brown like your daughter's. Hope you will have a good life together! Congrats to you meeting eachother!

Happy Birthday Kimmer. ;) Wow that is one very prety cat and a big one too. We used to have a Siamese cat that would jump out from behind the bush at the front of the house and would scare the mailman and even use sometimes.

Actually Ragdolls are extremely loving cats. They do not have a mean streak in their bodies. The original breed was started by Ann Baker; a breeder in California. She bred Josephine, a loving, gentle, long haired white female carrying Siamese markings, to other long haired cats carrying Siamese markings. The name Ragdoll came from the kittens because they was so floppy when you picked them up. I now have 3 myself and they are the most amazing cats I have ever seen. Here is more information on the breed: http://www.cfainc.org/breeds/profiles/ragdoll.html and more history about the background of the breed: http://www.rfci.org/info/ragdoll_history.php Hes going to be much much bigger as they don't stop growing till they are around 4 years. The markings fully develop when they are 2. It will take time for him to get used to the new people and home. Our first one took about a week to settle in, the other 2 took only a few hours. Just give him space and time and he will soon make himself at home:) He is a beautiful boy and will make you a wonderful part of the family!:)
