Description

Hello All! Thank you for all the wonderful birthday greetings!!! You have all been More than kind and here I havn't even been on here much due to setting up this new home and then a new part time job. Speaking of new here is our newest family mamber Ringo . His name is ringo because he has a white ring on the end tip of his tail ..( not seen in this pic btw) ..He is a pure bread papered ragdoll cat. Ragdolls are some of the largest domesticated cats out there and thier roots come from simese and hymalian persian mix backgrounds . Believe it not This guy is still growing and almost a year old look how big he is!! We adopted him cause his owners were moving and couldnt keep him( and because I have been wanting a cat for a while now hehe)! I captured him with just a hint of my daughter Nellie there -so you could see how big he is . (I wanted to get a better picture of him , but he is still so shy and hardly comes out from under the bed LOL!! ) Anyways I dont know if i will leave this one in my gallery but wanted to introduce you to our new big baby ... isn't he adorable ..I personally love his sky blue eyes and seal mit coat !!...he is still a little scared in this shot here ..hehe...he will grow used to us and my cocker spaniel candi in time !!..he is still a little frightened here cause Candi my doggy just walked in but he is really quite a love and very affectionate and sweet !! taken with my nikon pocket cam the canon wasnt around here ( this is when he first got out and grabbed the nearest cam avalible before he darted for back under the bed ...lol) wondering how long does it take for a cat to get used to a new home? hmm = I am guessing at least a week!! ( Janel is not smiling too much at the time here cause she is bit worried about getting scratched with it seeing our dog suddenly in the hall )..LOL!!... Thank you for all your time and comments and BEAUTIFUl warm birthday greetings!! - Will try my best to get caught up soon on comments !! Love you ALL!!! ((( BIg hugs ))) ~ Kimmers ♥ :O)

What are you feeding him on? He is huge! Hope he is better humoured than he looks. Fantasic whiskers. Great shot of Ringo and your lovely daughter.

Ol' Ringo seems to feel that being photographed by a paparazzo is an affront to his dignity. (Great shot, anyway, Kimmers!)

The word "kitty" does not seem to be too appropriate here, LOL! It has a formidable stare, well captured.

He doesn't look very friendly but I'm sure by now he'll have learned that your household is the best that could have befallen to him. In Texas I saw a crossing between cats and tigers. Not my cup of tea - my reaction was, Yuk! But it wouldn't surprise me if one of these days you or one of your daughters would come home with a tiger cub and your family would raise it like a pet!
