Description

Usually, Avariels do not wear armors: they hate to be encumbered while flying. The exception is ceremonial armor, because they have a complex set of traditions and rituals that require an appropriate clothing. Even armors are made of glass, like their weapons. Usually, Nerys does not tie her hair in a ponytail: she loves to have it free flying in the air. The exception is when she is wearing the Dress Uniform of the Royal Guards of Myrravin, praying at the temple of Aerdrie Faenya, the elven goddess of air. And usually, I do not spend ten days of work and twenty hours of CPU time to render an image. The exception is when I try to adapt to Kielo 2 an armor made for Michael 3, posing it in a weird way, hiding a billion of poke-throughs, then adding to the textures some effects of transparency and refraction. But I like the final result, and I hope you'll like it too! The background is a free digitally painted image by Didi_mc, available here at renderosity freestuff.

This image was definitely worth the time and effort you put into it, the super strong glass used in the weapons is an interesting idea as well, I guess Avariel weapons and armor would have to be made from that material, if they were metal then they would weigh them down. I can definitely appreciate why they only wear the armor on special occasions though, can you imagine flying with that much glass strapped on? Overall, nice work.
