Jin was furious at herself for letting Neon get to her. It wasn't as if she had infected herself with the plague. She wanted to be normal, and be loved like everyone else. She walked up to the controls of the shuttle and looked out the front windows at the building where she had left Pelza and Ruiz asleep in the basement. Jin wondered if Pelza was her full grown daughter. She didn't know what to think any more. Jin wished that Narchi wasn't so shot up so he pilot the shuttle over to that building so she could rescue Pelza and Ruiz. She really wanted to be a hero. With a sudden blast of glass, the windows blew out on that building while she watched. She jerked and reflexively turned on the forward lights. A moment later, she could barely make out a dim fluttering figure fly from the rooftop over there and start toward the hospital. She punched control points, and touched touch-screens, bringing the craft to life, as an auto-cannon started to fire on the hospital roof-top. She heard the rounds hit the armor-plating and blow out one of the lights on the front of the shuttle. A small missle of some kind flew from just outside the shuttle to impact the rooftop with a thunderous roar, as Jin turned to sprint out the door of the cockpit. Jin watched for a fraction of a second as the signs flew from the rooftop, and debris rained down outside. Neon was shouting, "Brilliant! Bloody Brilliant! Woohooo-hooo!" The thud of two bodies hitting the shuttle-top shook Jin out of her shock of looking at the disaster across the river inlet. Jin looked at Neon who hadn't heard the thuds, and ran out the other side of the shuttle to see on top of the shuttle. She was shocked. It was Pelza, trying to disentangle herself from a huge bat-winged monster. Both of them seemed quite a bit worse for the wear. Jin blinked and shouted at them, "FREEZE! STOP MOVING! What the fuck?"
