Description

Perro dropped his cloaking field and flicked open the small refrigerator next to Toxic's bed. He quickly grabbed up the test-tube with a sample of Toxic's blood in it and trotted silently out of the room on all four of his soft rubber feet. He went into the laboratory next door, which had two one-way, mirrored windows looking into the room where Toxic lay sleeping. "The doctor is in!" He announced to the still air inside the room, after the heavy door slid shut. He sometimes just needed to hear a voice, and sometimes that meant he talked to himself. He knew that was a sign of deep loneliness, but he couldn't help it. Perro picked up a sterile syringe and drew out the blood sample. He tossed the test-tube into a sterile disposal slot and grabbed up a blood tester-meter. He swiftly read the instructions. He knew his quiet observer enjoyed his patter as much as he did. He heard the comm-signal from his ancient master. "I"m here. I have the blood. Reading up on the procedure." "So simple, even a complete primate can use it. Good! NOW to see what she really is!" He cloaked and slid out into the hall and swiftly moved toward Narchi's room. Narchi was closer and was already sedated. Testing him for blood compatibility would be easy. Also he was badly injured, and if Perro was correct in his assessment of what he though Toxic was, Perro would find out within a day or two. Tragus class wardroids weren't renown for their medical skills, but Perro was glad he liked to read a lot. He'd have to save half the sample for for that one-eyed woman, Jin. He wanted to see if it would affect a normal human infected with the Blight, to see if Toxic was REALLY Panchetta's daughter. He ducked down a hallway to avoid several people running up the hallway to see out a window on the side where the explosion happened. In the quiet that followed, Perro remarked, "It'll take a day or two to see if I'm right, but at least one thing. I won't be bored around here." He chuckled in amusement and slipped into Narchi's room, like a thief in the night. He received further instruction from his ancient friend and got onto his mission to help his other friends. He wanted to aid his favored people. Now the movers of history had started to come into line-up and he was helping a little bit. Having fun and helping people was more than he could ask for! --To be continued!-- Media is Poser 6
