Description

I've been watching some of the debates from around the U.S. on C-Span. Can't stomach more then five or ten minutes at a time, but it is kind of interesting. Usually we here politicians speak in short soundbites. To hear them talk at length is sometimes scary. This political season, "fear" is the theme. The basic rules seem to be: 1. Tell folks all the terrible things that will happen if you vote for the other guy, or the wrong party. 2. Do not directly tell the voter what you believe in, or what you plan to do, because it might make you accountable at a later date. 3. Use the phrase "the American People" every thirty seconds to sound more patriotic. (insert your country here, because I assume it's similar elsewhere) 4. Brush up on your excuse-making. *** Made everything except the armadillo which is from Dedicated Digital. Photo mats from Lemog and Animax.

Looks like the armadillos are forming a fun party. Perhaps we should vote for them. The quality of this rendering is amazing by the way.

We're all doomed in the states. The liberal whackos are trying to take over. Someone has got to end the madness. Nice render! -chachi

Its great what you are able to get out of Bryce, especually on soft surfaces like the towels. I'm not sure where the armdillos come into the title, but I like it very much all the same. Falls nicely between real and surreal.

This is SO surreal! I love it. Here's some real campaign gems for you. From missouri "If you vote republican, black churches will burn." And of course, the "Willie Horton" ad used against Dukakis. Or how about the now infamous "Daisy" ad that created this era of negativity? I'm a talk radio fiend, so I listen to this about 6 hours a day, it's scary, but it's better to be informed and be able to discern their real intents so you can fight to keep them out of office. Sometimes negative ads are the most true. :c/

Great work - especially like the lighting & the way that seedy looking wall contrasts with the porcelain sink & tub. Unfortunately, fear has been the over-riding political theme ever since 9/11 & the Bushies have milked it for all its worth. Here's hoping we can switch gears from the war paradigm to the coexistence paradigm...

I was chased around my car by two armadillos I happened upon in the early morning while going toward my garage. The pair hissed then chased me inside the garage and around the CRV once then scooted away....I have feared politicians ever since Dave.... [=

ha, yep, you got it. Nice slice of satire. I saw in the newspaper police blotter about a policeman being chased by a pack of chihuahuas, the other week. Oooh, vicious.
