Description

"That's right, folks...step up, step right on up! Now the door on my left is people gettin' killed...door on my right is people gettin' nekkid. C'mon in, don't be shy...doesn't cost a thing to look, and what else can I say, folks, except....THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT!" This is for a friend with a question: why is it okay to watch people getting killed but not okay to look at them in their birthday suits? The comedian George Carlin said he would rather his children watched two people making love than two people trying to kill one another. Seems like not everybody feels that way though; it's a weird life we're living sometimes, ain't it? I don't know the answer, Ladona, but I do know it's a very good question. (nudity flag set since Mike's going topless; just being careful) Peace, Morgan

Very interesting question that Ladona raises here. I'm with you on this for sure. I'd rather let kids look at naked bodies than ones being killed. Awesome work as always.

The answer simply is that kings saw camp folowers as a distraction that sapped fighting strength and broke their limbs if they found them. Only recently has violence intruded into nude clubs. Law enforcement has consistently brought violence to nudist spaces. Nudity is innocence since the Garden of Eden. It is hard for most to deal with the apple.
