Description

Hi all, Hope everyone is having a wonderful time!.... Well I liked the concept of this shot, but also think the ball is slightly distracting, but if I take it out the compo is wrong... *sigh* I'm too lazy to set it all up on/in my "towel studio" LOL I used my towel as an "infinity curve", and a desk lamp with several layers of paper towel to defuse the light :P Yes it's as pro as I can get LOL.... Me proud to say there were no fires... Please, Any critiques are more than welcome! :) Hope you enjoy!

yey! you posted it. You know what i think but i'll just say that apart from the ball and hat thing (ball is to far in focus to be "out of focus" and hat is slightly blended into background), it is a great shot and very cool concept! And the towel colour and the bear make a very nice mix :) I have a few ideas for "towel studioing" of my own (when i get the urge) ;)

AAWWW!!! Such a Sweetie!! Well... I do wonder what your compo would look like if Mr. Teddy was on the right and the ball on the left? I do like the whole concept and the texture of the towel... works well with Teddy!!! Overall GREAT lighting and lovely product! Good job! 8;o)

I agree with Estabout the compo. I think it would look even better if mr Teddy was faced in the other direction. But i still think its an awesome shot!!! Adorable!!! I could see this at poster-stores....kiddies section. The towel made for a great infinity curve with that texture. It cant be a very big teddy right? Oh..and when will we get to see those other 17 shots here? Huh huh? I want to see them here dammit! Ha en fantastisk dag och gl inte att ga lorna emellan allt chattande och kommenterande. #;o)

It's actually quite a good sset up in terms of the lamp and paper towels. The ball should be infront of the bear, actually swap the two's positions aeactly and place a piece of white cardboard on the left so that you can get some refleced light and fill the shadows a tiny bit... My help... I really love the colour of the light thou and the towel is an excellent idea and the texture works well with the bear's fur...

Interesting study, and the textures look great along with the contrasting colors. I like peewee's idea about using reflected light. Nice work!

So excellent Kai ! The difuse orange light on the bear is magical and the ball must stay where it is. Too much perfection is so boring.. Very well done !

Kai, this is perfect. What makes sense to me is that the bear has no eyes and cannot see the ball behind him, even if he turned, he still could not see it. The title 'Emotionally Bear' could be thought of as BARE and without the sense of sight is highly possible! I wouldn't change a thing. The darkness adds to the mood. Keep it up! :0)

In the first place: you must see this in FULL SIZE...it shows so much more details. I would center the bear a bit, and I find the hat a bit dark.... for the rest it is a lovely image, no doubts

Great shot! For the first time, I don't agree with Andreas and Est I like this position, he seems to sulk, and the ball is perfect here, it tells a story. Don't change anything!!! Bravo Kai!!!!!and big hugs

The idea and capture is very nice. Not to see the eyes, really sets the stage for being emotionally bare. Great photo. HUGS!!

Wheeeeeeeeeeppeeeeeeeeee!! I agree with Andreas as well.. That is about facing your little one to the ball.. Now about removing the ball i guess not a good ideas since it contains the same colours as the scarf ;) Love the shadow and low tones + your magical lighiting my friend.. This is amazing piece of art Thank you and have a nice day/night JOE

Neat ideal, like it except a little dark around the bears head, except for that nice capture!

Glad to hear there were no fires, hehe. To me it looks as thou Mr Teddy is sitting in the corner because hes been naughty therefore not allowed to play with the ball anymore. I wouldn't change a thing. Great work. Hope you're having a great day :D

I like the focus on the bear and the ball just a bit blurred in the DOF. That's great lighting then. Bout time you uploaded. Have a fantastic week.
