This is so beautiful, Koosie. How I wish I were there. The atmosphere, the mood fill me with peace and deep longing.

Koosie, I really hope you are well! Reading in the Forum that you had a nice day on a terrace makes my heart ponder, why cant I be there :o( But, to know that you enjjoyed this day so well with sun, a coffee and something nice to eat makes me smile ;o) Hugs from the machine and long live the Forum and Koosie for President, hick ;o)

you're probably surprised to see me back here (what is this, 2006? yes! I stepped back in time!) But I'm visiting everyone this time---something I haven't done in half a year---with one image per, to wish everyone a beautiful new year. And I was going to comment on one of your current images, but decided to come here, because I always loved this image & wanted to comment on it for the longest time. It's a beautiful abstract of terrace shapes: It could be a private terrace, a city cafe, a park, etc. And you've rendered everything as 'thought' and yet kept all the details intact. You left a passageway down the center (the right opening for the massing on each side) and your sky has a wonderful intensified purple in the center. I love the trees too, the way threshold filtering works in PS. Wonderful abstraction & use of blacks. It's wonderful, and I wish you a wonderful new year and hope it gives you great inspiration & joy; and I wanted to tell you it's been a great pleasure to come here, and to share your light & wonderful friendship on top of it all. And thanks for being in my gallery when I was barely in anyone's for weeks on end! Have a great new year! From the future (2009), mark
