Description
There floats a basket
Black as tar
The story's known
From near and far
Along the current
Silent it flows
Evil within it
Everyone knows
I heard a tale
Of good gone bad
The basket harbors
The Iliad
A body witheld
A murderer free
To scare the likes
Of you and me
Reach for it
And if you dare
Lay its contents
Dry and bare
Bones will rattle
Bats will scream
Forever you'll hear it
In your dreams
Look in the mirror
Your eyes are hollow
Reflections of death
Will surely follow
Some believe
Some still ponder
But if I were you
I wouldn't wonder
Leave it be
And walk away
You'll live to see
Another day
