I was referring to a crop of the water (by calling it the blurry stuff ;) ). Now this is amazing, great depth! How did you do this - with the tripod in the water? must be fairly dangerous with all that ice around! That stick is like an ant bridge across the river! Very nice scenery :)

What an outstanding image. Excellent colors and POV. The water looks fantastic, very very well done!! What a weather you have in Sweden, it's incredible. Here are +20C and the sun is shining. I believe, it's the warmest october here in the south of Germany since the meteorological data are registered. The climate is changing very rapid. However, have a great friday!! :)

I've gotta say that this upload is fantastic for your choice of shutter speed and exposure - the soft water adds to the texture of the ice and the feel of the cold temperatures. You are making us experience what you are feeling - brilliant photography! Your choice of overall exposure has created this stunning light to work with on the rocks. Lovely Really lovely. Now to show my appreciation - POP into favs...

Brrrrr, that looks chilly. It NEVER gets that cold here, hahahaah! But sometimes I wish it would. It makes for a lovely scene, I love how you softened the water. ND filter I presume?

Brrrr, that sure looks frosty cold...Here it's warm and sunny,(but still plain, flat and ugly, lol.) Sweden sure is gorgeous, but your weather seems rather extreme.I guess you just can't have it all.Anyhoo, this is lovely,Andreas.I love the little bits of red and green and the contrast between the ice and the 'soft' water. You did a wonderful job capturing this...Sorry about the storm,(blowing sideways, yeesh!)and all.Sounds like a perfect time to hunker down with a good book,a cup of cocoa and a nice crackling fire...Stay dry, vannen and wish you a wonderful weekend...-M #;^) PS Once again,I love your smilies!

So very "January" for me here. Nice chilly photo. Its a wonderful pov and you've done the movement in the water well and still managed to showcase the ice.

The icicles and the blue hue makes it look extremely cold but it is a wonderful scene with tiny specks of warm colours.

I love the pic but I'm one who would rather see a little less exposure time. I guess I'm more of a naturalist or something. I must admit that I would love to get a shot of water flowing using a long exposure. I'm still trying to learn all this stuff. At my age (61-don't tell anyone) I have enough trouble figuring out how to turn the camera on...lol. When this storm is over, I'm sure that you'll find some beautiful pics to take and share with us...I agree with Marlene...good book (or DVD), hot chocolate, warm fire and waite out the storm....I too love your smilie characters..
