Hello there!
Sooooo....what do one say in these "bios"? Hmmmm.....Im actually just typing this because im bored at work and i have finished commenting on what i intended to comment on....i suppose i could actually do some of the stuff they are paying me to do, but what would only be even more boring. LOL.
So anyhoo....my real name is Andreas Stridsberg and i live in Sweden. Ive been a member of RR since....well i have no idea. 2-3 years perhaps? And i just recently got my own print-store of my photographs up and running at my own website. So if youre financially independent and wish to contribute to MY well-being...i suggest you go buy some. LOL.
In conclusion i just wish to add this:
I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!
I have never been a part of a more friendly or more helpful community than this one. Im proud to have gotten to know so many wonderful and talented people. #:o)

This is just too good. They must have better D200's in Sweden than here.Your details on the ice around branches is sweet!Getting the exposure on water, plus having everything else so crisp is very talented.
kansas
An exeptionally beautiful scene. The ice and water is marvelous.

Well my friend, you've managed to get the perfect capture of winter's first freeze. Stay warm and continue with the wonderful winter scenes.

You had it worse than we, I mean the storm, and more cold it seems. The beauty of your shot is stunning, but I look at it with divided mind. I don't feel ready for winter yet, slighly frost this morning here after the storm. Hope you did not loose electricity!!
Biffowitz
Fabulous wintery scene, the time exposure has turned the water into fog. Nice work!!

just awesome.....

Ok ... Ok ... now i understand why you questioned whether my waterfalls were cold!! Ok theyre not as "cold" as yours. Its cold where i come from but thats probably a summers day to you (come and get your bathers out down here)!! LOL Our waterfalls/creeks only occasionally freeze over - only above 1200+m altitude. This shot is just great ... i love icicles n waterfalls. Great combo. Cheers Lou

Great job, espcially with Mother Nature tossing a blizzard in your way.
bentchick
Okay.......no..... come on...... is it really called Cold Creek??????? LOL ;p It's really beautiful and you've captured that "cold" feel perfectly! Sorry to say that we are having a lovely "indian summer" here and temps well over the 60F's! I think I need to get out there and get a couple fall pics myself, before I end up "cold creek" without a paddle!!!!! LOL ;p

I almost missed this! Thanks for braving the weather to share it with us! Bj BTW Advice, buy battery heated socks! LOL!

You have a nack for turning seemingly normal scenery into magic. Please keep doing that. And using editing software to give the image what you want it to show is perfectly fine by me. You wouldn't deny a painter a certain brush or stroke either. So blur or not, red or less red - WYSIWYG - or even better - What We See Is What You Want Us To See - and that's good that way. So keep going and don't freeze your butt off.
gingerlou
Beautiful capture, it actually makes me want some ice here, just for a second anyway, before I step back into reality, lol :))
KiwiMiss
sigh that is so stunning! How on earth do you get everything to look so good all the time ... grrr, lol
smittan
wow... Awsome shot !!
MrMichael
This is a very beautiful photo! I love the frozen water contrasting the movement of the water rushing by in a blur.

The softness of the waterflow that you've created, is an absolute winner! Sheesh, it really gets cold in your valley during Winter, huh? BRRRRR!!! I'm soooo glad we don't get these kind of temperatures here in SA. Anyways, The comparison between the stark icy branches and your flow of water is really fantastic! Well done there! ;0)
