Description

This is my first real try with Carrara's volumetrics. This is pretty much as Carrara pumped it out. I just altered the contrast and colour slightly. The model is available as modules over at DAZ for use in Bryce. At least it used to be. Thanks for looking.

I certainly someone puts you in charge of the SFX for the next Star Trek movie coming out later this year - whoever does them now really sucks. You need to be in over there, in charge and kickin some graphic artists butt. And you did all this only using Bryce - pffffft. You are doing stuff with the program that even the designers didn't imagine. 5+++

Very impressive; Cararra indeed seems to powerful and has got me wondering whether or not to get it. I suppose I'm a bit bias for Bryce though - I've been using it since I was eight years old. Anywho, this is five-star work!

Very nicely done! The volumetrics appear very realistic, and add a plausible sense of depth and scale.
