Hi, I'm Dave :^)
I've learned that Art is 5% inspiration and 95% perspiration! I started CGA as a hobby early 2004. This site is huge, so if you have seen any of my material, then thank you for taking the time.
BIO:I'm a widowed Electronics and Software design Engineer living in Southern California, about 60 miles east of Los Angeles.
My late wife Robin.. passed in 2003 after 31 wonderfully married years, the last 7 of which Robin was in poor health. I miss my Babe so much...
I'm working with Poser5, Bryce5.5, Wings3D, PSP-10 and CorelPaint8.My mother (Elnor) is also on this site as Silkylady. If you get a chance, please drop by her gallery and see her work.
Finally, remember these words of wisdom:
1) Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff.2) If your only tool is a hammer then all your problems will look like nails.3) It's amazing what can be accomplished when one doesn't know what one can't do.4) Very few know how much one must know in order to know how little one really knows.5) Give a man fire and you heat him for awhile. Set a man on fire and he is heated for life.6) Complexity is a set of things that we figured how to do right, one built on top of the other, until failure is achieved.7) Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get.8) Marriage is a place where you can be wrong in ways you never thought possible.9) If a man speaks his mind in a forest and no woman hears him.. is he still wrong?10) If at first you don't succeed, then cover up all previous attempts that failed.
Please enjoy your visit! Dave :^)(AKA: 'davidoblad','DLO')

Dave aka Young Fella, I just bust a gut laughing, that reflection in the mirror wouldn't scare a fly he-he. I'm astonished that She the beautiful looking chick with the super curves isn't rolling on the floor in laughter. It's unfortunate that the girl doesn't have control over her own emotions (after all you are the Puppeteer here) I remember Thriller it scared the carp outta me too but your version made me laugh to a point that I may have cracked a rib. Tell you what ol buddy change the title to something like "The Clown In Your Mirror" and all should fit. This old buddy is a gut wrenching laughter buster you got got here it's the wrong movie. ( heck maybe I just have a twisted sense of humor ) Tell you what though it's a cool render and very well executed. Re-post for Easter and title it the "Big Chocolate Thing In the Mirror and all should be well ! HEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ! Yahoo ! and all that ol buddy. George! Have a happy Easter he-he.

Oh, George, I and Dave read your comment together this morning, and busted our guts laughing. You have not lost your sense of humor at all. I want you to try and make me a scary monster, that compares with this beauty in the mirror. You don't frighten easily, do you? Love this pic, and I love your comment on it. It cracked me up. Easter indeed. Very funny. Huggs...Silkylady...

Well, I must say that you really nailed me to a Tee on this one! LOL! I'm keeping a low profile this year for Halloween, and I paid the price. My truck was covered with purple sticky candy when I went to leave the next day! Aight! Gotta love that spirit! LOL! Happy Halloween to you, Dave, and don't let those dang goblins and gouls trash your ride! LOL!

Dear Dave, Things have finally slowed down a little so I've been prowling through your gallery. "Eclectic" comes to mind - and also "Eccentric" but we'll reserve that word for some Blond!!!! By the way, I'm sitting here typing away in my tackiest robe, wearing my pink bunny slippers, and drinking hot chocolate with half a Hershey's bar melted in it!!! TOO YUMMY!!! Hey - it's Sunday and I've finally got a day off - this is as dressed as I'm gonna get!!! "Thriller" was a little before my time. Was that the one hosted by Boris Karloff? THE Boss and Tomas (director of programming) have talked about it. And also about Science Fiction Theater - which I think must have been more creepy than science. I'll have to se if either of them have any tapes so I can check it out. THE Boss has got a huge collection of stuff like that. I think if I saw eyes in my mirror like that, I wouldn't be standing there but would be headed for the next state at warp speed!! Trust me, Meredith is the last person on Earth that would ever go "look in the basement!!" When it doubt, I vacate!!!! Of course, according to several of the guys at work, that wouldn't do any good at all because I "run like a girl!" In case no one has noticed, I AM a girl - what am I supposed to run like? A rhinoceros??? No one would believe the abuse I suffer at work from my male co-workers!!!! Anyway - super nice job with the reflections and spooky setting!! It's a perfect treat for Halloween!!!! Love you!! Meredith

Oh my God that's me!! LOL
