Hi, I'm Dave :^)
I've learned that Art is 5% inspiration and 95% perspiration! I started CGA as a hobby early 2004. This site is huge, so if you have seen any of my material, then thank you for taking the time.
BIO:I'm a widowed Electronics and Software design Engineer living in Southern California, about 60 miles east of Los Angeles.
My late wife Robin.. passed in 2003 after 31 wonderfully married years, the last 7 of which Robin was in poor health. I miss my Babe so much...
I'm working with Poser5, Bryce5.5, Wings3D, PSP-10 and CorelPaint8.My mother (Elnor) is also on this site as Silkylady. If you get a chance, please drop by her gallery and see her work.
Finally, remember these words of wisdom:
1) Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff.2) If your only tool is a hammer then all your problems will look like nails.3) It's amazing what can be accomplished when one doesn't know what one can't do.4) Very few know how much one must know in order to know how little one really knows.5) Give a man fire and you heat him for awhile. Set a man on fire and he is heated for life.6) Complexity is a set of things that we figured how to do right, one built on top of the other, until failure is achieved.7) Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get.8) Marriage is a place where you can be wrong in ways you never thought possible.9) If a man speaks his mind in a forest and no woman hears him.. is he still wrong?10) If at first you don't succeed, then cover up all previous attempts that failed.
Please enjoy your visit! Dave :^)(AKA: 'davidoblad','DLO')

awwww....David...you are too sweet. Oh look, I look young enough to be carded. For that I thank you!! I'm so happy you had a good time. Such a trooper you are, walked you to death and you didn't even flinch!! My one regret was that there wasn't enough time for you to see Joan of Arc and the Vine. And spend a little more time in Central Park. But was genuinely happy you finally got to meet Harriette, she is a cutie isn't she? At least you got to see that what they say about New Yorkers is a myth. And what they say about Jersey girls isn't. LOL! Thank you.. I'm blushing! ~Michelle~

I am really happy you were able to meet Michelle and also get to see so much of NYC, while you were there. Talking to her on the phone, she sounds like a very nice lady to know, and so sweet. It was so nice of her, to take you all over to those interesting places. I imagine it would be something for the eyes to see and to remember. Thankyou Michelle, for showing Dave such a good time, and some wonderful memories also. It took him some time to tell me of the great things he saw. Dave, I love this pic. It does resemble her a bit, from the pics you showed me. Love you so much and you are some artist. Huggs and Kisses...Silkylady...

Hi Dave, aka Young Fella..Pleased to here that you had the good sense to mix business with pleasure while in NYC. I'm intrigued, you mentioned that you met the lady in my gallery. Are you referring to the gallery that I deleted some time back. I don't believe it's my current gallery because I get very few new visitors, no complaints though it's my fault. I haven't been very active in the past months with regards to browsing the gallery's leaving comments and so forth. Therefore it's to be expected that new visitors are few and far between and I do not remember a visit from the lady in question. Please enlighten me here ol Buddy. OH, this being a Poser rendition how close would you say it is to the appearance of the real lady ? Did curiosity really kill the cat or is it just an old un-wise tale. CA to NYC..what's the mileage as the crow fly's ? George http://www.renderbenders.com/

Hey George, She visited your post on current page#2 called "Dave in the sh!t House" and dropped a comment. Then dashed off to see my end of our fun little battle and dropped a comment. Things blossomed from there. As for accuracy in depicting Michelle... It's as close as I could get with Poser. Keeping in mind that every facial tweak in Poser offsets a previous tweak, like changing the chin, affects the mouth etc.. But I think it's fairly accurate. Besides, it's more how I see her than how she really looks.. isn't it? And as far as distance, remember what they say about "distance makes the heart grow fonder"? You might notice I took my bachelor Ad off my homepage? If you do nothing else ol man, go read her erotic story called "How deep is your love".. page#3, June-21,2006. Then go take a cold shower...heheheh. Manly hugs at ya Coolcatcom ol buddy.

Start spreading the news...Does a little soft shoe routine in the street Well, that's great news, Dave! You beat the staggering odds in meeting that special person on the internet! I won't even start to tell you the nightmares I've had! Cough Talk about "Dave in the sh!t House"! LOL!! Very beautiful portrait you did, and reading here through all the lengthy comments, I'd say you have a lot of close friends here who love to write! I'm not the type to leave a "Beautiful!" comment then leave, either. 8) I have only been to JFK airport and that was experience enough for me! LOL! Must have been quite an experience for the both of you! Excellent work, Dave, and I wish you two the best! Flings rice around
