Once again, excellent characterisation ... the people are all thankfully 'three-dimensional' and not simple stereotypes. You've also used incidental detail very well - enough to set the scene, but not so much that the reader's imagination is stifled. The ending is superb, and the lead-up [in terms of strange coincidences] very nicely paced. Another excellent read. Mike
