Firstly let me thank you for yuor generous comments "For Georgia on my Mind" I am so pleased you liked it.
Todays image is very different, I am not sure if you know the work of Francis Bacon [Irish-born British Expressionist Painter, 1909-1992], an interesting character, who, for want of a better description lived life to the full! Many years ago I visited an embassy in London and above the fireplace was a portrait of the Ambassador's wife painted by Francis Bacon - I can assure you it looked very like this image!!!
Look carefully, and let me know what you see .....??

Beautiful and airy and light and with lots of movements. I see a tall slender woman dressed in black and red and white with her hand up to her mouth as if laughing at the world from behind her hand. Somehow, she looks flapperish to me.

This is truly amazing ,so very much like Bacon`s art ,his style and even the colors . I wonder what would happen if you showed this in a London art gallery .

You have captured Bacon's style wonderfully! I see two human figures, male and female, their heads together and their bodies very close. Bacon's figures were very tortured, not at all in good terms with themselves, and your image also depicts that strikingly well. It's good to see tributes to those who inspire us so much!

For me Bacon's work mostly has something repelling, but that's a very personal opinion. Your image doesn't have that, on the contrary, it's very appealing. Nevertheless some resemblance is certainly present here in this beautiful apo work.

Wonderful title! I see a throat, open, screaming mouth; and the one gulf of an eye (the other obscured by a wisp of a nose). Great work, and points for catching the feeling. I don't think Francis Bacon went in for pleasant pictures. His style was too demanding.
