Your comments on "Tribute to Francia Bacon" that I uploaded yesterday were fascinating to read - it proves to me everytime how we all look at an image with such diverse imaginations - thanks to you all. I am hoping todays image engenders the essence of an exotic orchid - but who knows - maybe you can see something else...??? That's exquisite! Oddly, my first thought was an Iris, although I don't recall ever having seen one that colour. Whatever it is, it's absoloutely beautiful.

Well, we could get Freudian here but it really looks like an orchid to me. Great use of color, it's certainly reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe painting.
