Description

Four variations on a theme. Chevrolet Bel Air 4-Door Sedan in Nassau Blue/Harbor Blue, 2-Door Sedan in India Ivory/Matador Red, Sport Sedan in Calypso Cream/Grecian Gold and Nomad in India Ivory/Cashmere Blue. The 56 Bel Air looked good in any body style. The two-tone treatment created a comet-shaped sidespear that made the car look eager to thrust forward. Wonderful Fifties... Thanks for watching.

I had nearly forgotten about 4 door cars without the door post. Just plain beautiful work!

I had a 55' just like the top left color scheme and 4 door . it was my fifth car after a 57"chevy,50' chevy,53 commander,48 plymouth. stunning models of very high quality. I love your collage. I told someone recently that sells antique hot rods for a living, that back then no one told us we had classics

Fantastic! This must be the most classic of all classic americans of the '50s. You model them with a honesty that appeal to me, and with some mint renderings to show them. What more can I ask for? Excellent work!

You've done an utterly fantabulous job on these models! The level of detail is exquisite! The quality of your render rivals a full page Look or Life Magazine ad. Are you selling these as models?

My dear, you're a good one! Just a question: do you work only from blueprints or do you use plastic or metal reduced scale models?

Thanks all for the comments. I did a couple more of the 56: a Crocus Yellow/Laurel Green Townsman 210 4-door wagon and an Onix Black Sedan Delivery, both of which can be checked at http://www.palat.com.br/cars.html Now is the time to advance into other projects. I started modeling the last of the Trichevys, the baroque 1957 model, which i hope to show when finished.
