Description

The "One-fifty" was Chevrolet's low-budget choice. In 1958 it was renamed "Biscayne". If dressed up with all accessories it could look almost as glitzy as the Bel Air itself. Adding the minimum (for that era) of side chrome made a big difference from the bare 1955 version. Two-tone treatment was bold if more conservative than the 210. This is the 4-door, of which 51,544 units were produced. Colors are Sierra Gold (more like a copper color) and Adobe Beige. Thanks for watching.

Don't know much about geometry...when the mind is hot it remembers things that in cooler times are more exact. I don't know if you accept a source that is blocked in it's Chinese version but ...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Delray So fine!

Thanks for the comments, and thanks Tallpindo for the correction -- the 150 was renamed Delray in 58. Until then though the Delray was essencially a 2-door 150 featuring all-vynil interior and it proved a good seller from 55 through 57.

Such a beautiful modeled and textured piece of work. I would love to see a 64 Impala modeled by you. I'm going to go take a look around the rest of your gallery to see what other modeling surprises I may find. Again great job. -James

Thanks again! I was just checking the front of this and the 210 and found out the "V"-d front must be more pronounced as observed by tallpindo. I will tweak this and rerender both models, and edit the images. jhusthead - check all my oldtimers at http://www.palat.com.br/cars.html
