Description

Sigh, Halloween's over, so it's time to move on. Okay, all you plant aficionados, here's a test for you...just what kind of flower is this? It doesn't take much to stump me in this area, but surely someone out there must have the answer. Just to keep you on your toes, I have several more mystery flowers (at least to me) in my library I'll be posting periodically. Thanks for dropping by, and have a spiffy day!

Because of the pointed swirl upon opening it must be from the nightshade or belladona family. One of the toxic beauties. I could look further but I bet with that lead you can find the exact kind yourself. :-) It is beautiful... perhaps one of the angel's trumpets?

Well... because I waited to comment, I know the answer!! hi-hi-hi!!! So I don't have to guess!! To me the flower looks like paper thats folded and dyed and twirled into this stunning shape!!! Its just GORGEOUS!!! How can something this pretty be Deadly? Well, the rule are, looks can be deceiving, right? So this is probably the flower's luering-in trick... "look its sooo pretty, I need to touch it".... then when you're close enough... WHAM!!! lol 8;o)
