Wow - It's been a good while since I uploaded anything. Almost 4got how! lol Been pretty hectic lately but now it's time for our annual (gonna go 2wice this year!) "shellin' safari" to Sanibel Island and I just had to show y'all this one since it matches the vibe. Yep, more cubist fract-stractedness. I've been having fun with this style and hope it doesn't get "old".
Joie and I are, literally, just about to get in the car and take off but I held us up for a quick post and to let y'all know I'm still here :-). Sure hope we find some nice seashells this year but even if we don't, the time away from the pressures of work will be MOST welcome! Especially for Joie, who has been working 7 days a week for almost 2 months! I know, "ya gotta do what ya gotta do", but I've found that working a lot of overtime isn't worth the money. Too much of real life gets missed..... Some things just aren't worth money, ya know?
C-ya when we get back. I've decided to quit with all this picky-ness and have a few to show everyone. And - as ALWAYS - thanks for stopping by!
Rick

Surprisingly I made no comment on this way back a year ago. Sore fingers, I expect - that or the usual complete lack of inspiration. I do see affinities with your latest posting and the time of year is similar. I suppose the world should be thankful you don't collect grains of sand. Think, the Sahara could become de-nuded (barren becomes bare!). Sorry about the diptych comment, the brain sleeps at 03:00 hours whether I've made the bed or not. Even so Trip-(tych)in your case does have promise of becoming Dip-(tych, or is that titch?). Strangely most people seem to "shell-out" for holidays, yours makes for better tangible memories (where do you put them all, and how is Joie at dusting?) Now I see the reason for no earlier comment. It needed time for this bunch of words to become relevant. Must have been exceedingly clever and prescient in those days.
