Description
This image is the first 3D rendering I've made that was completely inspired by a tramatic emotional experience in my life, not some cool cityscape, scene or something purely imaginative. This image defines my marrage/divorce and my x-wife perfectly. It even has some quasi-self portrait elements depicting the wrecked emotional corpse that she left of me from the experience. For a brief time I was a wreck. A lot of symbolism in the rendering for example, the Mushroom is part of my commentary on marriage. Some shrooms are good to eat and others will kill you. My marriage was like biting into a Death Cap mushroom.

It takes a real artist to transform emotions into something as powerful as this. Very well composed and very descriptive.

I too have traveled through the valley of "torn guts"; more than once. Firstly, this is outstanding work with Max. Secondly, I agree with everyone that it is an excellent vehicle for conveying your emotional state. Is the foreground tree an object in Max, or part of the background photo?
rob_sharo
The foreground tree is a 3D object.
