Description

The "road to the Isles" passes Arisaig just before the ferry over to Skye, and the lovely Silver sands of Morar. Its many years since I've been up to this part of Scotland, and even though the weather was pretty foul, I had forgoten just how beautiful the area is, well worth a visit. Thanks for viewing.

This looks very cold, Anthony. I like the silver sands. As you'll know, Fionnaport across from Iona has the most amazing beach, and the water colour can rival anyhting in the Mediterranean. I am unable, today, to zoom in on any of the pictures in the Gallery section. I must return to this one. Hoping that your weekend was enjoyable, as well as 'challenging'. Regards, John.

The wild and untouched feel to this place is amazing! Yes I see the boat and the house! but it still looks like one of those last places on Earth! The treasure from the sea you could find here would make it worth the cold! Thanks. BJ

Great photo...this beach was also used in the running scene where Connor McLeod runs with a stag in Highlender (the first film) I think.Somewhere I really want to visit:-)
