I think it's a finch of some kind. But then you know me .. lol .. I'm safe to just call it a pretty little yellow bird. ;)
It's a perfect day in Minnesota .... 50+ degrees (F), sunshine .. the birds are flying around enjoying it too. I was shooting more chickadee's when suddenly a pair of these came along. :) I was in my glory. And then later on a weird looking woodpecker came ... I may upload it, may not .. we'll see. I just loved being outside today.
Now we're off to another hockey game/scrimmage. Dani had one yesterday, and her team lost 4-1. I'm not expecting much better today; they are up against a pretty darned good team. I think I'll bring my camera this time. Yesterdays game would have been perfect for taking pictures... the plexiglass that keeps the pucks out of our faces in the seats was in perfect condition; no scratches at all and the lighting was exceptionally bright. It would have been easy to get some good action shots.
