Something "lighter" this time which I have been eager to do after seeing babuci's H.A.L.O. I did not manage to get a halo, but here is my attempt at the experiment. I hope you enjoy the variation on the humble dandelion.

Hello Piet. Looks like you are having fun with your Canon. I really like the one on the left. How wonderful to capture the sun through the dandilion. Such a delicate capture. Thank You...bonita

always interesting to play with these dandelions and a camera :) the first (even tho you didnt manage the halo) is my fav, just pure simplicity. I may have to try this someday too...

I love shots like this! Reminds me almost of a supernova. Dandelions are great subject matter because of their delicate and amorphous structure.

Virtually the antithesis of your previous image! Instead of murky refuse, we have shining seeds, the future rests a moment...Brilliant!!

Ag it's pretty! When we were kids, we used to blow the seeds from the stem and then my Gran would get very upset with us! She used to say that if the seeds blow into your eyes, you will turn blind. Old wive's tale if you ask me! Nevertheless, she meant well in her ways! Thanx for the reminder of a pretty great childhood Oom Piet!
