Description

Hi there RR!
Just to clearify - this isn't taken with a macro lens... I'm still not equiped with one... This spidey did, however, sit very quietly... watching me... EEEKK! Anyway, hope you like it / him / her! (who can tell? as he/ she / it was a little bit smaller than the iris of ones eye! )
Thanks for all your comments on: - From Above - and thanks for stopping by today!
Monday is over, JAY!!

Very creative to turn the lack of a macro lens (and temptation) into something artistic. FYI, it is a male jumping spider.

Wonderful capture of the placid arachnid! Interesting effect of the sharp center showing the spider and the side blurring. It looks like postwork to me, but I'm not sure...it could be a clever manipulation of the lens.

Great shot, love the perspective of the itty-bitty spider posing for his close up. Like how the picture is canted slightly in the frame. It's definitely a more colorful spider than the Black Widow I found on my doorstep the other day. (!)
