Description

Well, Im sure many have noticed I havent been uploading much in the way of art. Truth be told, this place is pretty dead and I dont see much point in it anymore. Ive been hoarding this one for awhile, so I figured Id upload it (finally) Time to get it off my hardrive lol For those that dont know, this is Lady Death vs Purgatori. Its not an original concept really... I fell in love with the one by Dorian Clevenger so I wanted to try my hand at doing one similar. This is by far the longest Ive ever worked on an image.... 14+ hours, coz most of its painted in Photoshop. Have a happy! Credits: Lady Death is played by Screaming Mimi Purgatori is played by Thunderdomes, and her sword is from Queen of the Amazons, all by pee and eye and available at our website DAZ Freaky Devil (tex on purgatori) AngHell Sword and millenium horse Rest is painted and postwork

Sure would not mind playing on your chess board, if this is how the knights are personified. A very dynamic image, filled with vibrant colors; it is easy to see where you could have spent so much time on this. And worth it, in my opinion.

My last render took 9 and a half hours, and I realised when it was done that I screwed up, lol, so by the time it gets posted it will have taken close to 20 hours to complete, if not more. This is a fantastic pic though. Time well spent! - Matt

Excellent work on this. I've always kinda liked Lady Death - and not just because of the obvious choices. I never really got too far into the Chaos! stuff (I was more into some of the Marvel books that I had managed to sort of follow, along with some of the titles from Image and Sirius), but the stuff I did have seemed to be pretty good.

Superb job. Probably one of your best images. Those 14+ hours were worth it. I wonder how much that plus sign means... Gorgeous characters. Excellent skin tones. Well, this time I won't say anything about their clothes because I can't even see if they're dressed. 8-) Awesome postwork and atmosphere. If this isn't art, I don't know what is.
