Description
This typical Chinese street scene was captured last week in Dali, Yunnan province. He said he'd slaughtered his hogs (six by my count) earlier that morning, and had already sold the headless carcasses. I guess he had plans for the leftovers.
The streams flowing off the mountain are channeled through town, some in pipes, and some in concrete ditches like this one he's using to clean his harvest. Water is the key to village life here in China, just like everywhere else, and these people are keenly aware of how finite a resource it is.
Thanks for viewing and reading - Feel like some tofu now?

I can go tofu or pork.. this looks like it is very cleanly done, either that or you captured it cleanly. Very well done!

Actually pork tastes best when it's freshly slaughtered like this. The health inspector might have a problem with this scene but I certaintly don't.
